Itinerary
A day of indulgence, nostalgia and railway romance: brunch on the way out, dinner on the way back, Kandersteg in between.
We board for a stylish day trip into the Bernese Oberland and travel aboard the «Prestige Continental-Express» to the Belle Époque days in Kandersteg. In the elegant dining cars and the «Le Diamant» piano bar we experience the charm of the great age of luxury rail travel while the Swiss landscape passes by. In the morning we enjoy a generous brunch, on the way back a freshly prepared dinner. In Kandersteg there is time from about 12.00 to 17.00 to take in the festive Belle Époque atmosphere and the historic village at your own pace. Departure Zurich main station approx. 08.25, arrival approx. 20.30; from Winterthur approx. 07.55, arrival approx. 20.55.

Prestige Continental-Express
From 1999 the former Deutsche Bundesbahn dining cars were rebuilt in the style of the legendary «Orient Express» salon carriages. Today the carriages «Le Salon Bleu» and «Le Rubis Noir» and the «Le Diamant» piano bar offer a unique journey with fine materials and stylish interiors.
